Terms & Conditions of ServiceThese Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between Your Elevated Home ("we", "us", "our") and the client ("you", "your") engaging our services. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms below.
1. Our Services
Your Elevated Home provides lifestyle home management services including, but not limited to:
Premium cleaning and seasonal resets
Home organisation and decluttering
Pre-sale preparation
Post-construction detailing
Interior design and styling coordination
Relocations and estate clearing
Coordination of trusted third-party specialists
Each service is tailored to the individual property and client requirements. Outcomes may vary depending on property condition and scope agreed.
2. Insurance & Certificate of Currency
Your Elevated Home holds comprehensive public liability insurance. A current Certificate of Currency is available upon request prior to or at the commencement of service.
When engaging trusted third-party providers on your behalf, it is our standard process to verify their insurance and Certificate of Currency before they attend your property. However, where a third party's insurance status changes beyond our knowledge or control after engagement, Your Elevated Home accepts no liability for any resulting claims, losses or damages.
3. Client Presence & Property Access
You are not required to be present during services.
By granting access to your property, you authorise Your Elevated Home and its team to carry out agreed works independently and manage the service to achieve the intended outcome.
Clients must:
Provide safe and lawful access to the property
Secure pets where necessary
Notify us of alarms, hazards, or special instructions prior to service
We reserve the right to pause or cease services if access or safety conditions are unsuitable.
4. Bookings & Payment Terms
Bookings are confirmed upon acceptance of a quote or written confirmation.
Payment terms will be outlined in your invoice or proposal.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due prior to or on the day of service.
Late payments may incur administrative fees or suspension of future bookings.
Cancellations or rescheduling require a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations may incur a fee reflecting reserved team time.
5. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for the period stated at purchase.
Vouchers are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.
Services exceeding voucher value will require payment of the balance.
Expired vouchers may be honoured at our discretion.
6. Third-Party Services
We may coordinate trusted third-party providers (e.g., stylists, window cleaners, removalists, trades) on your behalf.
Where third parties are engaged:
They operate as independent contractors.
Their services are subject to their own terms and conditions.
Your Elevated Home will, as standard practice, verify their insurance and Certificate of Currency prior to engagement.
Your Elevated Home is not liable for third-party workmanship, conduct or outcomes.
Where a third party's insurance or certification changes beyond our control, we accept no liability for resulting loss or damage.
We coordinate third-party services for your convenience but do not assume contractual responsibility for external providers.
7. Safety, Liability & Damage
We prioritise the safety of both our clients and our team at all times.
We may refuse or cease work where:
Conditions are unsafe
Hazardous materials are present
Structural or environmental risks exist
While every care is taken, please note:
Pre-existing damage, wear, or fragile items may become apparent during service.
We are not liable for deterioration caused by normal cleaning or handling processes where materials are already compromised.
We ask that clients advise us of any fragile, high-value or irreplaceable items prior to service so appropriate precautions can be taken.
Liability is limited to the value of the service provided, to the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law.
8. Relocation & Transition Services
For relocation, moving and estate clearing services, the following conditions apply:
Your Elevated Home's role is to coordinate, box, prepare and pack items for relocation.
The physical lifting, carrying and transport of items is carried out by licensed removalists engaged for this purpose.
Your Elevated Home does not handle, move or pack artworks, sculptures, antiques or items of significant fragility or monetary value unless explicitly agreed in writing.
We are not responsible for breakage, damage or loss of items during the lifting, loading, transit or unloading process, which remains the responsibility of the removalist.
Clients are encouraged to arrange independent insurance cover for high-value items during any relocation.
9. Photographs & Media
We may take photographs of spaces for:
Internal quality assurance
Training purposes
Marketing or portfolio use
No identifying personal information will be shared without consent. Clients may opt out of marketing use by notifying us in writing prior to service.
10. Removal or Disposal of Property
Items will not be removed or disposed of without client approval.
Where removal services are requested:
Items approved for disposal or donation are final.
We are not responsible for items mistakenly approved for removal.
Clients are encouraged to review items prior to disposal confirmation.
11. Travel & Expenses
Services outside standard service areas or requiring extended travel may incur additional charges including:
Travel time
Parking fees
Accommodation (where required)
Specialist equipment transport
Any applicable expenses will be communicated in advance where possible.
12. Privacy
Your Elevated Home respects your privacy and confidentiality. We:
Collect only information necessary to deliver services
Store client information securely
Do not sell or share personal information with third parties except where required to deliver agreed services or by law
Full privacy practices are available upon request.
13. Confidentiality & Discretion
Our team operates with professional discretion at all times. Client information, property details and personal circumstances remain confidential and will not be disclosed without permission unless legally required.
14. Changes to Scope
Additional work requested during service may:
Extend service time
Require additional team members
Result in adjusted pricing
We will confirm changes with you where practical before proceeding.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, illness, transport disruption, or government restrictions.
16. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
If any provision is deemed invalid, remaining provisions remain enforceable.
Terms may be updated periodically and apply to future bookings once published.
